It's a challenge for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have already been conquered.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's challenging for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the chance.

Ultimately, the result of Australia allowing 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy being given a chance to deliver her latest masterpiece.

When she was dismissed the team required another 66 at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if we do, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament want to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.
